Live Casino Malaysia – Baccarat
Experience the feel of a real casino from the comfort of your own home. 9club8 brings you live Baccarat tables with professional dealers, a range of game variants and betting limits suited to all types of Malaysian players.
Why Baccarat at 9club8?
Baccarat is one of the most popular casino games among Asian players, including those in Malaysia. Unlike poker, which demands deep strategy, or blackjack, where you need to memorise charts, Baccarat is refreshingly straightforward — you simply choose from three options: Banker wins, Player wins, or Tie. That's all there is to it.
But don't mistake simplicity for dullness. There's something genuinely compelling about the way fortune and momentum shift throughout a long Baccarat session. Seasoned 9club8 players will tell you how exhilarating it is when Banker wins seven or eight rounds in a row, or when a Player streak suddenly snaps in the final moment.
At 9club8, our live Baccarat tables are hosted by friendly, professional dealers. Every round is streamed in high definition with multi-angle cameras, so you can see every card dealt with complete clarity. Playing at 9club8 feels like sitting at a real casino table — no need to leave home, whether you're in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, or anywhere else in Malaysia.
Game Variants
From classic to modern — each variant offers a slightly different experience and payout structure.
The most widely recognised Baccarat variant in the world and the most played at 9club8. Standard rules, three betting options — Banker, Player and Tie. Ideal for both new and experienced players.
Each round is completed in just 27 seconds — nearly half the time of standard Baccarat. Perfect for players who prefer fast-paced action with minimal wait time between rounds.
A variant that eliminates the standard 5% commission on Banker wins — meaning Banker payouts are a full 1:1. A special exception applies when Banker wins with a 6. A popular choice at 9club8.
An exclusive table with high bet limits and a more intimate atmosphere. Dedicated dealers, a premium interface and prioritised service for 9club8 VIP players. Access by invitation or VIP qualification only.
A Baccarat variant with additional side bets including Dragon Bonus, Lucky 6, Perfect Pairs and Banker Streak. More ways to win bigger with multiple betting options at a single table on 9club8.
Payout Table
Baccarat carries one of the lowest house edges of any casino game – particularly on the Banker bet. This is why many seasoned players choose Baccarat as their game of choice.
| Bet Type | Payout | House Edge |
|---|---|---|
| Banker Wins | 0.95:1 (minus 5% commission) | 1.06% |
| Player Wins | 1:1 | 1.24% |
| Tie | 8:1 | 14.36% |
| Banker Pair | 11:1 | 10.36% |
| Player Pair | 11:1 | 10.36% |
| Dragon Bonus (Banker) | Up to 30:1 | 9.37% |
| Lucky 6 | 20:1 (3 cards) / 12:1 (2 cards) | 13.0% |
| No Commission Banker (Win with 6) | 0.5:1 | 1.46% (average) |
* Payouts based on a standard 8-deck shoe. House edge may vary slightly depending on the variant and number of decks used.

How to Play Baccarat
Baccarat may look glamorous and complex from the outside, but it is actually one of the most straightforward casino games in terms of mechanics. Here are the basics you need to know before playing at 9club8:
The goal of Baccarat is to predict which hand will be closer to 9 — the Banker or the Player. You choose which side to back before the cards are dealt.
Cards 2–9 are worth their face value. 10s, Jacks, Queens and Kings are worth zero. Aces are worth 1. If the total exceeds 9, only the second digit counts — for example, 15 becomes 5.
Each hand (Player and Banker) starts with two cards. Depending on the total, a third card may be dealt according to fixed "draw" rules – not at the player's discretion. This removes the skill element entirely, making Baccarat a pure game of chance.
If either the Player or Banker hand reaches 8 or 9 with the first two cards, it is called a "Natural" and the round ends immediately with no additional cards drawn. A Natural 9 beats a Natural 8.
The hand closer to 9 wins. A winning Banker bet pays 0.95:1 (the casino takes a 5% commission). A winning Player bet pays 1:1 in full. A Tie pays 8:1, but the house edge is very high — most experienced 9club8 players avoid the Tie bet.
Complete Guide
One of the most common questions new players ask at 9club8 is: "Is there a strategy that can win at Baccarat?" The honest answer is that Baccarat is a completely random game – there is no way to predict the next card. That said, there are some money management guidelines that can help you play longer and enjoy a more controlled experience.
Many long-time 9club8 players will tell you to always bet on the Banker. Not because the Banker wins every time – but statistically, the Banker bet carries the lowest house edge at 1.06%, which is lower than the Player (1.24%) and significantly lower than the Tie (14.36%). The 5% commission deducted from Banker winnings is still worth it, as the Banker's probability of winning is marginally higher than the Player's.
Second, avoid the Tie bet despite its attractive 8:1 payout. With a house edge of 14.36%, the Tie bet leads to significantly higher losses over time compared to Banker or Player. Experienced 9club8 players treat Tie as an occasional fun bet in small amounts — not a core strategy.
Third, set clear session limits before you start. Decide how much you're willing to lose and how much you want to win before you walk away. Baccarat has strong momentum — winning and losing streaks can last longer than you expect. The most successful 9club8 players are those who know when to stop, not just when to play.
Live Casino Experience
If you have only ever played Baccarat on an app with computer-generated animations, the experience at 9club8 will feel entirely different. Live Baccarat at 9club8 is streamed from world-class casino studios with professionally trained real dealers. You can watch the dealer's hands distribute the cards, hear the sound of cards being placed on the table, and see the result of every round clearly through a high-quality live video feed.
Baccarat has long been the game of choice among Asian casino players who appreciate value and odds. In Malaysia, it has a rich history as a favourite pastime across various social settings and occasions. 9club8 brings that tradition to a digital platform, ensuring the live Baccarat experience remains authentic and satisfying — even when you're playing from your phone in your own room.
One feature that 9club8 players love is the Road Map, or Bead Road — a visual display that records the outcome of each round as coloured circles. A Banker win is marked with a green circle (B), a Player win with a white or grey circle (P), and a Tie with a smaller circle. While each round's outcome is independent and random, many players use the road map to spot active streaks or patterns and make their betting decisions based on those observations. It's all part of the ritual and enjoyment of playing Baccarat.
On the payments side, 9club8 makes sure Malaysian players never face any hassle with deposits or withdrawals. You can deposit via Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow or FPX (Maybank2u, CIMB Clicks) with a minimum of just RM10. Funds are processed instantly and credited directly to your Baccarat balance. When you win, withdrawals to your Malaysian bank account — whether Maybank, CIMB, RHB or Public Bank — are typically completed within 3–10 minutes.
One of 9club8's greatest strengths is the video quality of our live Baccarat stream. Nothing is more frustrating than a frozen or lagging video at a critical moment – right when the dealer is about to flip that final deciding card. 9club8 runs on a world-class CDN (Content Delivery Network) with nodes positioned close to Southeast Asia, ensuring players in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, Ipoh and Kota Kinabalu all enjoy consistently smooth, uninterrupted streaming.
